Probably the most recognised and disliked of household pests, the cockroach is a resilient creature that can enter your premises through cracks around cupboards, skirting boards or pipework. As they tend to sneak out at night the first thing you notice may be droppings, which look like black pepper, or their eggs which are the size and shape of a small kidney bean and brown in colour. If you see one cockroach, you can be sure you have many more.
There are over 3000 species of cockroach. However, only four of these are common in the UK at present. The German, Oriental, American and Brown Banded cockroaches.
Cockroaches will eat almost anything and, as they carry disease, will contaminate everything they touch in their search for food. So its important you contact us straight away. If left untreated a small infestation can reach epidemic numbers in a very short space of time.
