ITCHING WITH
FLEAS
Fleas are mostly associated with pets but can also be found on beds, sofas, carpets and people. They feed off the blood of their ‘host’ to allow them to lay eggs. Fleas can cause huge discomfort and embarrassment, but can also cause infection and transfer other parasites, such as Tapeworm.
DEALING WITH FLEAS
Fleas can live for months in carpets and bedding without food and its very difficult to get rid of them and their eggs without specialist treatment. They will infest many areas of the home as they are carried about by pets and in clothing. However, a prompt treatment by your Crest experts and following their self help advice will effectively scratch their annoying itch!
HOW TO IDENTIFY
Fleas are very small, about 1mm in size, but can be seen. Watch your pets for persistent scratching. As a rule of thumb, if you have fleas, you’ll soon know about it! Act quickly and call out the experts.
